Well Andrea, no words can match your handy work. Also the extra work you conducted for my request. Thank you, thank you. The decoration was immaculate. So perfection that I did not want to cut it, but everybody who saw it wanted a piece of it, as well as the decoration. So, unfortunately, the cake was shared.

People who tasted it commented that the cake was so delicious. They all gave it 100+%. I myself was one of them. The cake was so moist, the amount of icing inside the cake was spot on. Not less, not too much, the sweetness was spot on. People did not want to eat the flower decorations – they were so amazed and they admired their beauty and realistic look so much that they said that are going to save them. Some said they might be wearing them on their hair, lol.

With an occasion as special as a first birthday, we wanted a cake that was equally as beautiful as our little girl. I’m a guy who’s wife finishes everything for him, and so it’s no surprise that I met some serious opposition when it came to organising my wife’s 50th birthday. After insisting that there was no way she would be baking her own cake, I really needed to deliver. So I called a few local businesses, however it soon became clear that something “off-the-shelf” simply wasn’t going to cut it. So I decided to give Andrea a call to see if she could help me.

Dear Andrea, you can rest assured that everyone admired our 100th birthday cake and said what a great piece of art it was. Even those who said it was too good to cut didn’t mind digging into their allocated piece.

I was absolutely thrilled with the cake Andrea made for my birthday party. The cake looked great (was really me!) and tasted beautiful. I like simple things and the frosted chocolate cake Andrea made was visually not over the top. I wanted an unusual colour combination for the cake decorations and Andrea’s enthusiasm to make the frangipanis in bright purple and orange convinced me that I had made the right colour choice.

Andrea’s approach to her business, products and customers is exceptional. At all stages of her service – from answering my email (with a last minute request to make a cake for my party), to processing payment, making and delivering the cake (the other side of Brisbane) – her approach was fantastic. She also did the important things that make a difference to a busy person who had left her party planning until the last minute, including keeping me informed of what she was doing daily and instructions on how to get the cake to the party intact.

Andrea knows her customers and how to meet their needs. Her attitude, enthusiasm and quick problem solving made my party planning considerably easier. I feel totally indebted to her for supplying the birthday cake in such a seamless and stress free manner.

Finally, mention must be made of Andrea’s interpersonal skills as they enhance the success of her business. Being able to quickly tune into her customer’s needs and produce a totally suitable solution is a strength many business people should copy (particularly the builder I sacked on my recent bathroom renovation who thought customers were a nuisance he had to tolerate!) I really felt that Andrea was on my side and would do everything she could to make my birthday celebration the absolute success it was.
